Koerner, Melissa About the Speaker:

Melissa Koerner is the owner and founder of Friend Your Body, an online health, fitness and nutrition coaching company that inspires and empowers people to feel better about how they look and feel by learning to make their health a priority.

After overcoming her own health problems through healthy lifestyle changes, Melissa founded Friend Your Body with the purpose to ignite the same spark in others to take responsibility of their choices, feel in control of their health, and take better care of themselves by making simple and effective changes in how they eat, move, and manage stress.

As the driving force behind the Friend Your Body movement, Melissa shares her passion and positive energy for health empowerment through her weekly health, fitness and nutrition blog, free monthly webinars and wellness seminars.

Friend Your Body's methods are grounded in Melissa's teaching experience and advanced certifications from the Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology (CHEK) Institute, the Metabolic Typing Education Center, and the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  Melissa is a Certified Personal Trainer, a Certified Metabolic Typing Advisor and a Certified Holistic Lifestyle Coach.
