On behalf of CMC staff and youth served, we are truly grateful for your on-going support of our Uncorked & Unplugged fundraiser. Your generous donations have helped to make a positive impact in the lives of Hancock County children. In 2020, your donation and support will be even more critical as the changes required to deliver the support to our youth are unprecedented and still being determined. We continue to operate with the utmost care maintaining safety in all aspects and
taking guidance from the Department of Health and our school partners who keep our staff, mentors, and mentees’ health at the forefront of our program delivery.

As the premier mentoring agency in Hancock County, Children’s Mentoring Connection’s concept is simple but highly effective: match a boy or girl, ages 6-14 primarily from single parent households with a mature, stable adult mentor who provides consistent and dependable guidance, understanding, acceptance, fun,
and support. During this time of unpredictability for so many children, our services keep those children connected and engaged.

In a typical September, CMC’s committee members for the Uncorked & Unplugged fundraiser would be busy finalizing details for this classic event where we gather
for a night of celebration and provide support that serves the youth in our community. Though we look forward to celebrating in that same fashion next year, this year’s signature event will look a little different.

Join us for dinner provided by Bistro at its BRIX location! During the week
of Oct 19 -24, join us for dine-in or take out and a portion of dinner proceeds
will be donated to CMC. BRIX is The Bistro’s newest space located next door
at 411 S. Main St. and will allow Uncorked & Unplugged guests to be observe safe and social distancing requirements while enjoying a special dinner evening out.
