What is a Web-Roundtable?: The web-roundtable, which is conducted in an online (webinar) environment, is a small and interactive forum for a dynamic exchange of information and ideas from a Buckner presenter and 8-10 attendees.

Session Description: This session will explore advanced strategies and tactics to prepare for, and conduct, internal investigation interviews. Specifically, Michael Buckner, an attorney and former licensed private investigator, and the roundtable participants will discuss numerous techniques to conduct investigation interviews that lead to the discovery of useful evidence and to identify truthful and untruthful behavior.

Who Should Attend?: General counsel, compliance officers, internal auditors, human resource professionals and other individuals who conduct internal investigations for organizations.

Pre-Roundtable Packet: In order to facilitate discussion and an exchange of ideas, Buckner will email a brainstorming packet to the registered attendees approximately three-five days prior to the event. The packet will contain: (1) information on the roundtable topic (which will provide baseline knowledge for each attendee); (2) a pre-roundtable exercise (which will assist each attendee generate ideas for the information-sharing segment of the roundtable); and (3) a form to submit questions to the presenter prior to the event (the responses to which will be researched by the presenter).

Roundtable Materials: On the day of the roundtable the attendees will receive: (1) the PowerPoint presentation; (2) background materials on the roundtable topic; and (3) any information submitted by the attendees for the information-sharing segment of the program.
