“We are centering much of the day around “the call to serve others” that both Martin Luther King, Jr and Pope Francis make. We will be doing this in the context of the theme of the 400th Anniversary of the Vincentian Family: Welcome the Stranger. We will explore "the stranger" as "the other" and work toward answering the question, "How does the stranger become a neighbor?"
Lunch will be provided and we will conclude with a small service project, making no sew fleece blankets, to be donated to some individuals/families to help them feel warmer and more at home.
