Shining Star 2017  

We are thrilled to announce our exciting new fundraising initiative to recognize a special individual whose extraordinary contributions to the Westwood Public Schools, Westwood Public Library or any other educational resources in town have helped to further the mission of the Foundation by enhancing learning opportunities for Westwood’s students each year.

We invite all Westwood students and their families to nominate one or more of their favorite teachers, coaches, school administrators, school staff members or other individuals they feel have had an exceptional impact on their ability to be their best learning selves.

To nominate your Shining Star, please submit your nomination below along with a minimum donation of $5.00 for each nominiation(you can nominate more than one person).

We will honor each nominee for the whole town to see by hanging a "Shining Star" acknowledgment with their name on it at the Westwood Public Library!

We will announce one winner as the "Shining Star of 2017" at the end of the nominating period, together with three honorable mentions.

The winner will be selected by the Foundation's Board, in its absolute discretion, after reviewing all of the inspiring ways each nominee contributes to our students- SO MAKE YOUR NOMINATION COUNT AND DONT FORGET TO GIVE A THOUGHTFUL DESCRIPTION OF WHY YOUR NOMINEE SHOULD BE OUR SHINING STAR 2017!

All nominations must be submitted by April 15, 2017
