West Station Area Transit Study: First Public Meeting

We're hosting the first public meeting on the West Station Area Transit Study on Thursday, November 14—and we want you there!

Doors will open at 6 p.m. The meeting will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The West Station Area Transit Study is a new scenario planning analysis to determine the land use and transit future of West Station in Allston.

In the study, we'll ask:

  • Which transit connectons and services might attract the most riders?
  • What is the optimal sequencing of land development and transit improvements?
  • What are the best measures for determining if a scenario is effective?
  • How could pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure (and on-demand mobility services) impact the ways people travel?
  • What partnerships, parking, land development, and policies and regulations could be used to encourage the most promising scenarios?

At this forum, learn more about the study and give feedback on study goals and the metrics we'll use to determine what scenarios will work best for the area.

Learn more about the study and see FAQs on the study webpage.
