Beginning Group Guitar - McPherson Elementary

 

Registration Deadline Monday, December 18th

The Group Guitar class is the perfect experience for beginning guitarists who want to try the instrument in a group of friends. They'll begin working on reading guitar chords and learning basic strumming patterns to apply to their favorite pop tunes, have lots of historical listening. The class is a great way to try out the guitar and see if it's a good instrument for you, before you begin private lessons.

• Ages 2nd through 5th grades
• Time:  3:00 - 3:45

• Tuesday Classes, Jan 9th - May 18th, no class on March 26
• Tuesday Tuition 20 weeks: $395

• Wednesday Classes, Jan. 10th - May 19th, no class on March 27th and April 10th. 
• Wednesday Tuition 18 weeks: $355

• Tuition can be broken into two payments, $200 due at the start of the semester and the remainder depending on class day due March 15th. 
• Split payment Tuesday balance will be $195
• Split payment Wednesday balance will be $155 

Class will be limited to 4 students and will be filled in the order registration is received. Once registration is filled with 4 students, additional students will be accepted on a waitlist.

Students who have previously taken Group Guitar class should contact Musical Chairs about transitioning to private instruction. 

Students must provide a spiral notebook for the class. McPherson will provide guitars. 

Group Guitar is held at McPherson school. Musical Chairs faculty will meet students in the designated instruction room. After class, students can be picked up by caregivers or return to aftercare.

Makeups are not available for group classses if the student has to miss a class.

Students are expected to follow instructions from the teacher and be respectful at all times. Should discipline be an issue we will first reach out to parents. If a problem continues we may regretfully ask students to forfeit the remainder of the session to ensure quality of instruction for all students.
