Chicago Youth Orchestra
Chicago's string ensemble for northside young artists.
The string ensemble is for the advancing intermediate string player ready to begin an ensemble experience. Being a member of the ensemble will enhance note recognition and sight reading, provide experience with conductors and learning to be a part of an ensemble rather than a soloist, all while learning new and exciting repertoire. There is space for Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass and Harp in the ensemble.
Weekly rehearsals are Thursday afternoons from 4:30 to 5:30
Location: in person at Queen of Apostles Parish Center, located at 4412 N. Western Avenue, Chicago, IL 60625
Tuition for Summer is $175 plus a materials fee of $25.
Young artists are required to have a working knowledge of their instrument and be able to efficiently read music.

Mini camp August 9 and 12 at regular rehearsal time
Performance Date: Friday, August 13th at 5:00.
