CARLTON OAKS 

FUN AND COMPETITION - IT'S A PERFECT DAY AND LOCATION.

This is the only Pete Dye course in San Diego so it's important for our EWGA Cup team players to be with us for our final match play practice round before we head off to our real competition the following week.

The course was originally built and designed by Pete Dye in 1958 but was totally renovated by his son Perry in 1989.  Dye Designs has established a worldwide reputation for creating unique, challenging and environmentally sensitive golf courses that are always fun to play.

The Carlton Oaks design takes full advantage of the natural river-valley setting and includes a meandering creek, mature trees and sparkling lakes. It employs a typical Dye design by using pot bunkers, railroad ties and peninsula greens.

The two nines are verry different. The front nine is a little tighter, reguiring you to make more demanding shots, but they are equally long.
