The theme of this year's Annual Membership Kickoff pays homage to the long strides women's golf has made since the early days in terms of media and monetary recognition and sponsorship, not to mention advances in level of skill and athletic achievement.  EWGA is the world's largest amateur women's golf organization and has, since its inception in 1991, touched the lives of tens of thousands of women in the U.S. and Canada and more recently Bermuda, South Africa and Italy.  In a sport that can be played by all family members for a lifetime, we say "thank you" to the pioneering women who had the foresight to recognize the need for an organized women's amateur golf association.
