About Luminary Night:
The 5th Annual Luminary Night will be held on Sunday, December 4th, 2011. Homes throughout Wellesley will light luminary candles and place them along driveways and sidewalks in a non-denominational celebration of the season. Proceeds will directly benefit the WHJWC’s Charitable Giving program.

WHJWC has served the town of Wellesley since 1944. In July 2010, WHJWC was granted tax-exempt status as a charitable organization under section 501(c)(3), enabling our supporters, including Luminary Night participants, to claim their donations as a tax deduction. Through our four fundraisers – the Wellesley Phone Book, Wellesley Marketplace, Luminary Night, and the Kitchen Tour – the WHJWC raises money that is donated back to our community. Luminary kits are sold for $20 each and include materials to create ten luminaries. Complete with instructions, kits will be delivered to your home during the week of November 28, 2011.
