Advance registration for camp is required.
This is a 2 DAY camp. Fee covers both days.
Campers may be dropped off between 8:30 and 9:00 AM each day.
Campers may be picked up between 2:00 and 2:30 PM each day. There is no extended care provided.

Get Ready for a "YOU-Niquely Social" Experience!
Back by popular demand, Buddies Not Bullies "YOU-Niquely Social" camp helps children in our community understand that we can be different, have different ideas, come from different kinds of families, and still get along.
"YOU-Niquely Social" helps Kindergarten through 5th grade children learn about leadership, making friends, including others, personal differences, and other helpful social strategies such as taking turns, personal space, and cooperation.
Here's a glimpse of some of the great activities and skills our campers will be engaged in:
*NEW* Flowers for Me! - Please and Thank You are the nicest words!
Be a Sport- Win or Lose - Learn how to be a good sport!
Bumper Bubbles - Teaches kids about personal space.
Skins - Teaches kids about cooperation and listening skills .
*NEW* Into the River - Kids learn more about conrtolling their impulses.
So Sensitive - Increases awareness of differently abled friends.
*NEW* Rooks & Tooks - Kids learn to work together while increasing appreciation for individual differences!
ONE to TEN - A fun and active game to work on multi-step directions!
*NEW* Shark Attack - You have to work together to be successful.
Hot Chocolate River - This game helps kids work cooperatively in a group .
*NEW* It's Our Party - A super fun way to practice the art of negotiation & compromise in a group!

Something extra cool about the "YOU-Niquely Social" camp is that it also provides area teens with opportunities to develop their leadership skills! The staff and directors of Buddies Not Bullies will be training and overseeing teens passionate about our mission as facilitators and mentors for the camp. Camper to Mentor ratio = 3:1, and Staff to Mentor ratio =1:2.
If you are interested in knowing more about how your teen can get involved - please contact Buddies Not Bullies directly as each teen mentor will undergo specialized screening and training prior to acceptance into the mentoring program.
