***IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER***
Should the weather forecast worsen, here are the cancellation policies:
After you register, if you think you won't be able to make it next Saturday due to weather in your area, please email us at
WilsonAreaChessClubs@gmail.com. We will cancel your registration and refund your fee.
If the weather forecast worsens and requires us to postpone the tournament, we will AUTOMATICALLY REGISTER YOU for the postponed date (likely in March). After we finalize details for a postponed tournament and notify you by email, we can then cancel your registration and refund your registration if the new date doesn't work for your player(s).
We're looking forward to a fun chess tournament, complete with donuts, pizza, salad, and a *FREE* ice cream cone for all players in the afternoon. And of course, plenty of chess games, trophies and prizes.
Fingers crossed for good weather!
