IRS Enrolled Agent Course
Special Enrollment Exam Prep Course -- Summer 2018- NOW OFFERED IN TWO LOCATIONS
This Special Enrollment Exam Test Prep Program is offered by members of the Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents at the Fall River Comfort Inn in Fall River, MA. and the Bedford Plaza Hotel in Bedford, MA. It is designed to provide students with an in-depth tax education on all relevant tax topics which include, but are not limited to: tax research, representation before the Internal Revenue Service, ethics, individual taxation, partnerships, and corporations.
Course teaching methods include but are not limited to: classroom lecture, on-line study and testing, and course textbook work.

IRS CPE Credits
Students attending every class of any part earn IRS CPE credits toward their Annual Filing Season Program commitment.
Part 1 – Nine hours of class time, 5 IRS CE credits
Parts 2A & 2B – Eighteen hours of class time, 5 IRS CE credits
Part 3 – Nine hours of class time, 2 IRS CE credits
Total IRS CPE credits to be earned by students – 12.

Elaine LeBeau, EA & Jessica Prince, EA
Elaine LeBeau, EA is an experienced educator and tax specialist. She is integral to the success of MJ Tabs in Fairhaven. She has an accounting degree from UMass-Dartmouth. Elaine has many years of experience of a tax professional at HR Block and as a controller at Burns Tools.
Jessica Prince, EA is a principle officer at MJ Tax and Business Services in Fairhaven. The business provides tax preparation, payroll services, bookkeeping and business consulting

Janice Nolan, EA & John Warren, EA
Jan Nolan, EA is the owner of a well established tax business in Attleboro. She 25 years of tax experience. She’s had careers as a software engineer and high school math teacher. Jan has a master of science degree in computer science from BU and a BA in math from UMass-Dartmouth. She completed a post graduate program in accounting at Bryant.
John Warren, EA manages the Medford Tax Experts, a consortium of tax professionals. He has almost four decades of tax preparation experience. John is an NTPI fellow and current president of the MA Society of Enrolled Agents. He has computer programming experience in the software design of corporate tax applications. He verifies tax software compliance for a do-it-yourself retail software product. He prepares individual, small business and non-profit tax returns. John is co-hosts the Cape Cod TV series, “The Tax Experts” and conducts multiple presentations across the Commonwealth during the summer and fall.

Scott Franklin, EA & Lisa Wright, EA
Scott Franklin, EA has a law degree from UMichigan and mortgage loan experience. He has a tax practice in Wellesley. Scott is extremely proficient with the tax issues of stock options, small business and rental property taxes. He provides elder care tax services that encompass gifting, trusts and estate planning. He also is a fine furniture maker.
Lisa A. Wright, EA, MST, is the owner of Bookswright™ Advisors, LLC. She earned her Master of Science in Taxation at Suffolk University along with a Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting. She also graduated from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and a Bachelor of the Arts in German.

Noreen Cahalane, EA & David Fazio, EA
Noreen Cahalane, EA, MST is a tax professional with both Big 4 Public Accounting experience and corporate industry experience. She is a senior tax manager with over 15 years of experience. Her expertise includes technical tax accounting, domestic and international tax compliance, project management, tax due diligence, tax controversy, uncertain tax positions, internal controls, IRC 382 NOL analysis, R&D credit, Subpart F, transfer pricing, tax automation, tax research and restructuring/tax planning. She earned her Master of Science in Taxation at Bentley University.
David Fazio is an Enrolled Agent in a solo practice. His practice is a mix of almost individual, trusts, partnerships, non-profits and S and C corporations returns. David provides accounting and payroll services. David earned the EA credential back when the IRS administered the exam themselves for 2 days once a year. There were no calculators or reference materials allowed in 2001. David lectures on tax topics for seniors at the West Bridgewater Council on Aging and for student-entrepreneurs at Blue Hills Regional Technical School.
