The Bucks County Taste Dinner Club
presents
Comfortfood & Kitchenette is a cozy, farm-to-table restaurant, tucked away on a back street, in an innocuous block of stores in Morrisville, PA.
It's one of Morrisville's best kept secrets. The locals know about it but I think everyone else needs to know about it too.
Comfortfood specializes in fresh, creative and seasonal cuisine with ingredients sourced from local farms. The menu includes dishes that meat-lovers, vegetarians and vegans can all enjoy.
Owner/Chef Kim Quay began her culinary career after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 1991. She worked mostly in fine dining, in some of the best kitchens in Philadelphia – Jake’s, The White Dog Café, the Striped Bass.
When she began her catering business in 2007, she started selling at local farmers markets. As she got to know the farmers, it changed her focus.
“Convenient, good food doesn’t have to be expensive or full of bad ingredients,” explains Quay. Now she makes sure her food is sourced from local farmers and producers as much as possible. “It almost makes it easier because it’s based on what is available.”
Join us on March 26 for an exquisitely prepared, seasonal and locally sourced dinner, created by chef Kim just for the Bucks County Taste Dinner Club.
