12 CEU'sAn Introduction to Stone Medicine
In Chinese medicine, stones, crystals, and gemstones are considered living entities, continuously evolving. Ge Hong, a Daoist priest in the Jin Dynasty, taught that stones convey permanence in healing and are imparted with divine knowledge from heaven to represent the light of heaven permeating the darkness of caves. As such, the density and solidity of stone medicine offers stabilization of the practitioner’s intentions to offer wellness on a deep level. In this course, Jeffrey Yuen will explore the energetic functions of stones and discuss their application in Chinese medicine to promote health based on their density, specific gravity, and chemical composition.
