Bringing the Neighbor Vision to Life 

The City of Fort Lauderdale is hosting a series of events during our upcoming Public Works Week Celebration. Join us for a rare opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look into the variety of services the Public Works Department provides.

In April 2013, the City Commission unanimously approved Fast Forward Fort Lauderdale 2035, our community's Vision Plan. Our staff is committed to working with our community partners to move forward with urgency and focus to implement the Vision through our Strategic Plan, Press Play Fort Lauderdale 2018. During this session, Mrs. Amy L. Knowles, Assistant to the City Manager, will discuss how her team, the Division of Structural Innovation, is collaborating with the Public Works Department to help bring the neighbor vision to life.
