Dear Friend and Supporter,
On behalf of the Kansas City Kansas Community College Foundation, I am proud to announce the 2017 Mid-America Education Hall of Fame Award and Scholarship Event:
On the evening of April 15th, we will highlight our students and core program offerings through an exciting ambiance and engaging activities. You will experience some of the innovative learning opportunities we provide our students.
This year’s Honorary Chair for the evening is Will Shields; former NFL player and member of 2015 NFL Hall of Fame class. Will you … Support KCKCC Students?
Will Shields is leading our theme of “Will you…” as we spotlight KCKCC students and achievements in the Kansas City region.
Mr. Shields started his stellar football career at University of Nebraska. He was first-team All-American, Outland Trophy winner, selected to the Nebraska All-Century Team, and was named to the Athlon Sports Nebraska All-Time Team. Professionally, Will was inducted into the Kansas City Chiefs Hall of Fame in 2012 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015 after an amazing 14-year career.
Will is an example of a passionate leader, entrepreneur and lifelong learner. We are so pleased that he has accepted the task of leading this year’s event, and we hope that we can count on you to step up to this challenge!
