Georg J. Riedel, the team here at Riedel UK and our partners are delighted to invite you to the first tutored tasting of the new Riedel glassware range Veritas, being held exclusively for hoteliers and restaurants, which will demonstrate the remarkable difference a Riedel glass can make to the taste, smell and enjoyment of wine.
It was Georg J. Riedel's father, Claus, who first had the vision to shun traditional decorative crystal and to design functional glasses which are plain, unadorned, thin blown and long stemmed.
Riedel has been leading the way in stemware ever since and the ambition for innovation is still the driving force that leads to spectacular new ranges such as Veritas. The new Riedel range is a machine made lead crystal glass of unsurpassed thinness and lightness. Veritas combines the charm of handmade glass with the consistent accuracy only a machine made glass can achieve. This series includes Riedel's signature varietal-specific shapes, with glasses for new world and Old world Syrah/Shiraz and Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Riesling and Viognier/Chardonnay. Combining the best of Riedel's glassware designs with the most up to date technology, this new series further endorses Riedel's hallmark leadership in performance driven consumer crystal drinkware.
Every Riedel wine glass is designed together with the winemakers and experts to show a particular grape varietal at its very best. And, when a wine tastes and smells as good as it does in a Riedel glass, your customers enjoy their experience more and spend more.
The event is being held at Westminster Kingsway College on Monday 29th September 2014, doors open at 12.00pm and the tasting will start promptly at 12.30pm. We do hope that you will be able to join us. All participants will take home a set of Riedel glasses.
