Emergencies do happen in the dental office. Whether the patient has a systemic reaction to a local or intravenous anesthetic agent, experiences an unrelated medical emergency, or develops airway compromise from airway edema or blood, are you prepared? This presentation will discuss some common emergencies that develop in the office setting and provide key steps that the dental professional can take to support the patient and keep them alive until help arrives.
