Virgin Trains Update and Hardhat Tour

Join us on Friday, February 28, 2020 at OIA’s new Intermodal Terminal Facility where Virgin Trains leadership will provide updates followed by a Hardhat Tour of active construction zones.

Virgin Trains and Orlando International Airport are teaming to provide Central Florida transportation professionals an opportunity to tour Greater Orlando Aviation Authority's (GOAA) Intermodal Terminal Facility and Virgin Trains station, platform, and active construction zone. Leaders from GOAA and Virgin will provide updates related to the project’s progress.

NOTE: Attendees must first register for the Breakfast Session before registering for the Hardhat Tour. Attendees have the option to register for just the Breakfast Session without the Hardhat Tour.

 Directions for Parking under the Intermodal Terminal Facility’s Virgin Trains Station

Since this is a brand new venue, the address is still under the main airport location if you are using a GPS. When arriving to Orlando International Airport, keep to the right lane following the BLUE sign to C Parking Garage. Continue to the garage, after taking a ticket from the gate, drive up the ramp to the FIFTH level to park. Walk through the double glass doors to enter the venue. Note: DO NOT USE THE E-PASS LANE. We will provide parking vouchers at the registration desk. Vouchers must be presented to gate attendant to receive parking credit and cannot be applied to e-pass charges.

 

Attire and Safety

• Due to security and logistics, we are unable to grant late arrivals or early dismissals.
• Closed toe shoes with solid soles
• No Flip Flops or Heels
• Hard Hats and Safety Visit will be provided and required to exit bus.

Parking:

Reduced $4.00 self-parking available in Garage C only. MUST TAKE A TICKET FOR VALIDATION.

Any guest with E-pass / Sunpass should not enter through the E pass / Sunpass lanes. You must pick up a ticket and exit through regular manned booth lanes in order to receive the reduced parking rates. No refunds will be issued if guest uses E-pass / Sunpass Lane to pay for parking
