Creating a Culture of Learning

"It's the paradox of expertise": The more closely you've looked at an industry, the more successful you've been in a company or profession, the harder it can be to see new patterns, prospects, and possibilities. Which is why the best leaders are the most insatiable learners. And why all leaders, wherever they are in the organization, have to keep asking themselves, "Am I learning as fast as the world is changing?"  ~ Harvard Business Review 9.16.16

In this Breakfast Brief, Kristen Kellner, KMA Chief Learning Officer, and Jen Fullmer, Boots2Roots Executive Director, will focus on the need to shift paradigms from viewing failure as unacceptable to embracing it as valuable feedback for paving the best way forward. Cultures that embrace learning from failure have a greater capacity to be resilient in the face of change. They can also vastly improve their performance in a variety of ways, including: higher levels of engagement; increased critical thinking skills and risk-taking; open communication and sharing of learnings; and enhanced ability to compete for and retain top talent.

This program will offer participants a host of beneficial strategies that can help them build and strengthen a culture of learning within their organization.
