Restoration Event at Manhattan Beach Friday, August 25th, 2023
Come volunteer with The Bay Foundation to help restore native dune habitat as a part of the Manhattan Beach Dune Restoration project. Participants will learn about dune ecology and contribute to restoration by removing non-native plants and watering native plants. This project will evaluate a living restored shoreline with a diverse plant and wildlife community as an approach to increase coastal resiliency.

Parking
Paid parking is available at the Bruce's Beach parking lot on 26th St and Ocean Dr. (see yellow outline on map below) and additional parking is available at the El Porto parking lot located at 116 45th St.

Site Location
The restoration site is located approximately 1 block oceanward of the Bruce's Beach parking lot. We will be meeting at 26th street on the beach, near the Lifeguard Tower 26. See map below
