May 20: High Elevation Gardening - Potatoes

Join Lake Tahoe Master Gardeners and UC Davis TERC at the Tahoe City Field Station and rediscover the much-loved potato. One of the few vegetables known to be grown at Lake Tahoe during pioneer times. Native to the Andes and well-suited to our climate, all attendees will take home starter plants and determine what varietal grows best at home.
