March Chapter Meeting:
Project Delivery Methods - "Best Practices"

Mike Day of DAY CPM (and a panel of experts) will be presenting the topic of Project Delivery Methods and implementation of "best practices", comparing traditional to newer methods and lessons learned from utilizing each method type. How the project will be designed and constructed, or the delivery method, is one of the most important decisions made by every owner considering a construction project.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify the four main construction contract types.
  2. Investigate the pros and cons of each contract type.
  3. Describe the impacts of BIM in the design and construction process.
  4. Analyze the current process for providing O&M’s and trends for the future.
