Steve Lamb, Consultant: Steve Lamb is the Director of Client Services for Interview Team and started working with West Company clients in the Ukiah area in 2012.  Steve brings over 20 years experience in management and operations in the telecommunications industry.  An experienced hiring manager, Steve conducted well over 600 final round interviews resulting in excess of 200 hires and promotions to fill entry level through director positions.  Steve became a strong proponent of the behavioral interview when introduced to the technique in 1996 as part of a corporate training initiative.  Steve has steadily increased his knowledge and experience using the behavioral interview to build a successful hiring and retention rate of 98%.  Steve says that one of his favorite things about working with West Company clients is “suggesting the client look at a particular issue from a perspective which is different from any they have previously considered.  Suddenly I can see from their body language and facial expressions they now understand the point I’m trying make and the impact it can have on their business venture.  This is the advantage of the clarity and non-emotional analysis of being on the outside looking in.
