Sock Puppets! BIG Puppets!
Level II Puppetry for the Early Childhood Classroom
5-Hour Professional Development
Earn a CUNY Certificate of Completion
Sock puppets are easy to create and bring warmth and focus to the classroom. Giant puppets are wonderful ways to introduce pageantry and performance. This workshop is designed to give educators hands-on training in using both forms of puppetry as interactive tools for learning.
What can I expect to gain from this workshop?
Participants will explore how to construct their own puppets and to identify how the creation process can become a student-centered learning experience.
Who should attend?
Early childhood educators who have attended CAT's Level I Course: We Have Puppets. Now What?? who are interested in developing more advanced skills in puppetry.
