Laughter, Movement and Tips for Home Fitness

Confinement and cold weather can be fitness challenges, yet there are ways to keep moving, laughing and building healthy fitness habits that offer benefits for years to come. Today two of our newest members, Gail Johnson and Sonia Pietruszka, share safe, healthy and fun ways to laugh and MOVE that BODY.

Sonia Pietruszka is a NASM certified personal trainer, IBBFA certified barre instructor, PN certified habit based nutrition coach, and a candidate for EFT (emotional freedom techniques) practitioner certification. Sonia is passionate about helping women build strength and confidence - physically,
 
mentally, and emotionally. As a firm believer that one's health and fitness journey is unique to the individual, she focuses on starting at a place that feels manageable to you right now. The gym setting is not right for everyone. For this reason, Sonia is a strong advocate of using household items as DIY fitness equipment. When we give ourselves the freedom to be creative and have fun with the process, we're more likely to keep up with it and turn it into a habit.  As a separate service, Sonia now offers EFT (Tapping) sessions to help remove the blocks that are keeping you from reaching your goals and living your best life.

Gail Johnson is a yoga teacher, retired educator/principal who is embarking on a new career integrating Emotional Freedom Techniques.  Gail will lead us in laughter yoga to help us all experience a positive shift. For those who remember beloved Idlewyld Innkeeper Joan Barris, Gail is her niece.
