Join Ten at the Top as The Upstate Bus Tour... Getting to Know Your Neighbors makes our next stop in Spartanburg County on April 18th.

We had a great trip to the City of Spartanburg in 2016, but there is quite a bit happening in other parts of the county, so we are taking the bus back to Spartanburg to check out some other great parts of the county as well as getting an update on all that is happening in the largest city in the county.

We will start the day with a tour of the Inland Port, which is located within the city limits of the City of Greer and has become a crucial component of the economic growth in the Upstate region over the last five years.

Our next stop will take us to The Heirloom Company, a unique business in Campobello that is producing amazing custom built wood and iron pieces that are being seen in locations across the country. They are currently working on the Celebration Pavilion for the new Cancer Survivors Park in Greenville and have an amazing portfolio of work. We will get a first-hand tour of their facility and see how they make their one-of-a-kind pieces.

Having a vibrant downtown is a trait shared by many cities in Spartanburg. We will get to check out both the City of Landrum and the City of Inman for walking tours and a chance to check out their unique communities.

After lunch in Inman, we will conclude the day with a check-in back in the City of Spartanburg. If you haven't been to Spartanburg recently, there has been quite a lot happening since we did our tour to the city in 2016.  We will get an update from Johnson Development on all the new construction happening in downtown as well as a sneak peak of what is coming in the near future. As part of the Spartanburg tour, we will check out the new A.C. Hotel Spartanburg, which was just starting construction in 2016, but is now a premier new hotel in the region.

Cost for the day is $25*, lunch is included. 

The bus will leave for Spartanburg from the Ten at The Top Offices at 8:30 am and return at approximately 5:00 pm. An additional stop will be made to pick up/drop off participants at the QT at Exit 60 (same exit as BMW) off I-85.
