What is the Shaping Our Future Scenario Planning & Growth Alternatives Analysis Project?

Upstate Forever, Furman's Riley Institute, and Ten at the Top are leading a study of growth and development alternatives for the Upstate. The analysis will include a comprehensive assesment of current policies, market forces, and development preferences to illustrate how continued growth under the trend scenario might influence the cost of government, shape infrastructure, support and/or limit economic development initiatives or impact the environment.

What is the role of the Technical Advisory Committee during the project?

As a member of the Technical Advisory Committee you will be relied upon to validate the scenario planning process, verify data, identify key planning themes and case study locations, and review draft deliverables.
