RESPECT AND HEALING: BUILDING HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS WITH OLDER ADULTS 

Join Elder Abuse Ontario and the Prevention of Elder Abuse Committee of York Region for an educational day that promises to provide excellent knowledge sharing sessions and networking opportunities. 
The conference theme focuses on respect and healing to create healthy relationships. Sessions will focus on key issues pertaining to mental health and dementia related to vulnerability/elder abuse, including discussions on intersectoral collaborations to create community based interventions and programs between health and justice partners. Keynote speaker, Kelly Brownbill, Indigenous Educator, will provide a presentation on Indigenous Perspectives on Elders and Aging. 

Features include: a Showcase of Community Services and Program, BBQ Lunch in the Pavilion, Tour of Safety Village and a Yoga Wellness Session.
