Eliminating Tax Debt Through Bankruptcy webinar 

As Enrolled Agents we often are the first professionals that taxpayers come to when they have tax debt problems. This webinar will give you a working knowledge of how bankruptcy can be used to reduce IRS debts and how late-filed, nonfiled and returns prepared by the IRS (substitute for returns) are treated in bankruptcy.

This online webinar will be presented by Seattle Attorney Kenneth C. Weil. Mr. Weil passed the Alabama Bar in 1980, and he has been in Washington since 1983. He holds an LL.M. in Taxation from NYU. His practice focuses on IRS collections and bankruptcy. He is the primary author of the bankruptcy chapter in the ABATax Section publication Effectively Representing Your Client Before the IRS (8th ed. forthcoming), and he was a founding member and past chair of the ABA Tax Section’s Collections, Bankruptcy and Workouts Committee.
