C3 - Poignant Moments: A Remarkable Perspective of Local History
Ernie Poignant will be sharing from his illustrated book Poignant Moments. Ernie details stories of Swedish families in Matsqui around the 1900’s when his grandfather, Carl Emil Poignant first purchased a homestead on Sumas Mt. before settling in the Ridgedale part of Matsqui in 1907.
