During the presentation, Patrick Sims, Vice Provost at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will discuss the initiatives the Division of Diversity, Equity and Educational Achievement is undertaking to advance diversity and inclusion at the University.  Those initiatives include a campus climate survey and the Diversity Inventory Project.

About the presenter: 

Patrick Sims is currently the Vice Provost for Diversity and Inclusion and the Chief Diversity Officer for the University of Wisconsin Madison.  In the Vice Provost roll, Sims is responsible for guiding and supporting the work of the Office of the Provost on matters related to diversity of students, staff, and faculty, as well as classroom, workplace, and general campus climate.

Over the years, Sims has worked with organizations such as Miller Brewing, Harley Davidson, Wisconsin Energies, Yale University and several other institutions of higher education.

In order for AFP Greater Madison to confirm meals and seating with the venue, cancellations must be received in writing via email or U.S. mail at least 48 business hours before the start of an event to be eligible for a full refund. No refunds will be made for requests received after that time, or by other means.  You may always send an alternate to an event without additional charge.
Refunds will be issued in the same form payment was made. Please allow two weeks for processing.
