A Conversation with Leslie Ann Howard and Neil Heinen 

Join an intimate conversation with two community leaders who have partnered over the past 25 years to engage, challenge and improve Dane County. From Schools of Hope to September 11th to racial equity, Leslie Ann Howard and Neil Heinen have facilitated the dialogue, ensuring that all voices are heard. They will talk about the roles of philanthropy, nonprofits and media in addressing our community’s most significant issues.

 United Way of Dane County

As president and CEO of United Way of Dane County since 1989, Leslie Ann Howard  has created dialogue and results on critical issues in Dane County. Through key  initiatives in education, income and health, United Way partnerships leverage  philanthropy, volunteerism and strategic connections to change lives.  Neil Heinen
 WISC-TV and Madison Magazine

 Neil Heinen is editorial director for WISC-TV and Madison Magazine, and  host of the Sunday morning public affairs program, “For the Record.” Neil  started at the tv station in 1987, following a career in radio news. His  editorials for WISC regularly shine a light on challenges, opportunities and reasons to celebrate life in the Madison community including the non-profit sector. www.channel3000.com

AFP Greater Madison Cancellation and Refund Policy

In order for AFP Greater Madison to confirm meals and seating with the venue, cancellations must be received in writing via email or U.S. mail at least 48 business hours before the start of an event to be eligible for a full refund. No refunds will be made for requests received after that time, or by other means.  You may always send an alternate to an event without additional charge.
Refunds will be issued in the same form payment was made. Please allow two weeks for processing.
