AFP Greater Madison Chapter Luncheon

Stories of Philanthropic Madison

The beginning of a new year is an ideal time to reflect on the past as we dream about what’s possible going forward. Please join us for the first AFP-Greater Madison Chapter meeting of 2014 when we look back and ahead with our luncheon speaker WISC-TV anchor and reporter Susan Siman. You may know Susan in her role as the emcee for our National Philanthropy Day celebration or co-host of Live at Five on WISC. In both roles she has seen philanthropy in action in our community, and when she joins us later this month Susan will share some nonprofit stories that have impacted the Madison area as well as tips on engaging local media with our work this year.

About our Presenter:

Susan Siman, WISC-TV

Susan is originally from suburban Chicago and lived with her family in Geneva, Switzerland and Hong Kong as a teenager. She attended college at North Central College in Naperville, IL and Syracuse University in New York.  Her broadcasting career includes reporting/anchoring for tv stations in Rhinelander, Champaign and Wausau before coming to WISC in 1995. Susan has anchored nearly every news program at the station and currently is co-host of LIVE at FIVE . She is married with a son.

In order for AFP Greater Madison to confirm meals and seating with the venue, cancellations must be received in writing via email or U.S. mail at least 48 business hours before the start of an event to be eligible for a full refund. No refunds will be made for requests received after that time, or by other means.  You may always send an alternate to an event without additional charge.
Refunds will be issued in the same form payment was made. Please allow two weeks for processing.
