AMWA-MAC Spring Conference

Join us for our 2018 Spring Conference! This year's conference features keynote speaker, Art Gertel, who will discuss the many benefits of volunteerism. We are also offering several choices of interactive roundtables and, as always, great opportunities for networking.

Registration Information

• March 3, 2018: Deadline for conference cancellation with partial refund
• March 5, 2018: Last day to register online before on-site registration
• March 6, 2018: On-site registration applies

The registration fee is $100 for all participants and includes breakfast, the keynote speaker presentation, roundtables, buffet lunch, and snacks.

Online payments are managed through PayPal and can be made using Visa, Master Card, American Express, and debit cards. An automatic email will be sent to confirm registration and provide a receipt. (Please check your SPAM folder if you do not see a confirmation within a few minutes.)

Please select a roundtable when registering. Reservations will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Conference cancellation requests must be received in writing no less than 1 week prior to the scheduled event. Refunds, minus a non-transferrable $25 registration cancellation fee, will be distributed only to individuals who cancel in writing 1 week or more before the scheduled event. No refunds or credits will be given for failure to attend, late arrival, unattended events, or early departure.

Accommodations

The 4-H Conference Center has a limited number of rooms available for those needing an overnight stay. The rate is $149 per night plus 6% MD tax. To reserve a room, call the 4-H Conference Center front desk at 301-961-2801 and refer to the American Medical Writers Mid-Atlantic Chapter Conference.
