e2e Wyoming in Casper Welcomes
Casper Start-Up Challenge Qualifiers

Tuesday, January 24th

Please note new event location.

Please join e2e Wyoming in Casper at the Wyoming Technology Business Center (WTBC) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24th to hear 2016’s Casper Start-Up Challenge qualifiers talk about their competition experience and how their businesses have grown since the competition. Information on the 2017 Casper Start-Up Challenge, and how Casper area companies in the seed, start-up, and early growth stages can qualify for this year’s privately funded $50,000 seed fund, will also be provided.

The Casper Start-Up Challenge was launched in early 2016 by the University of Wyoming’s WTBC to stimulate Wyoming technology start-up businesses. More than 30 teams applied to the challenge, and after multiple rounds of judging, the field was narrowed down to just five presenters who pitched their ideas to judges in May. The Casper Start-Up Challenge has been supported by the John P. Ellbogen Foundation, WIDC Frontier CDC, and the Casper Area Economic Development Alliance.

Our panel of qualifiers includes three very innovative entrepreneurs:

Brian Deurloo, Frog Creek Partners- created the Gutter Bin™ , a revolutionary technology focused on filtering pollutants-- such as cigarette butts, water bottles, plastic sacks, pesticides, herbicides and hydrocarbons--from storm water in catch basins.

Bradley Erickson & Eric Lewis, Bison Kings Game Studios- BK is a video game development company.  The team has developed a video game which will be launched on an on-line platform called “STEAM.”

Ily Nunn, NU Locating- NL is a private utility locating business that services Wyoming and the surrounding area.  NL uses traditional pipe & cable locators as well as ground penetrating radar.
