Join e2e Wyoming at the Best Western Sheridan Center at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29th to hear Nate Storey, founder and CEO of Bright Agrotech, share the story of launching an alternative agriculture startup.
Bright Agrotech is an agriculture technology business specializing in vertical, high density agriculture. Bright Agrotech builds and installs vertical hydroponic equipment around the world, helping farmers grow more with less. Born from Nate’s doctoral research at the University of Wyoming, the centerpiece of Bright Agrotech’s sales is the ZipGrow Tower. ZipGrow revolutionizes the life of the small farmer. In a hypercompetitive market, ZipGrow offers the advantages of niche marketing, reduced costs, and unique sales to small farmers everywhere. Bright Agrotech recently doubled its staff, saw almost 300% revenue growth in 2014, and is supplying the technology for the world’s largest food-growing green wall at the 2015 World’s Fair in Milan. Nate attended the University of Wyoming before graduating to run Bright Agrotech full time. He lives in Laramie with his wife, daughter and son.
