Join e2e Wyoming in Gillette at the Gillette College Tech Center on Monday, September 8th to hear Barry Sims, retired Taco John's CEO, discuss Taco John's journey of growth from a small family firm to a large organization.
Taco John’s currently operates and franchises over 400 restaurants across 25 states. In addition to the Taco John’s story, Barry will address some of the benefits and challenges for an entrepreneur involved in a family business, franchising as a business model, and the importance of maintaining culture and core values as the business grows.
In 2013, Barry retired as Chairman & CEO of Cheyenne-based Taco John’s International. Barry joined Taco John’s in 1986 as CFO after several years with the accounting firm of McGladrey & Pullen in Rapid City, SD. He is a CPA and graduate of the University of South Dakota and currently serves as Adjunct Professor for the University of Wyoming College of Business.
