"Building Our Future: 2019 Pre-Legislative Conference" Set for Dec. 11 in Charleston

The West Virginia Business & Industry Council will host the "Building Our Future: 2019 Pre-Legislative Conference" from 1:30-5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018. 

The event will be held at the newly renovated Charleston Civic Center.. A reception will be held from 5-7pm. 

Following a year of unprecedented economic growth, a significant State budget surplus, record low unemployment rate, among many other positive indicators, it's clear West Virginia is on solid footing.  Now is the time to enhance this momentum through proactive policy initiatives that will spur investment and job creation. 

This conference is an ideal opportunity for legislators and business leaders to convene and identify the best ways to grow West Virginia’s economy and maximize opportunities for progress. 

Our agenda will feature leaders from the Executive and Legislative branches of government who will break down plans for the legislative session and other topics that are critical to economic growth in the Mountain State. 

An agenda will be announced shortly. The cost to attend, which includes the evening reception, is $50 per person.
