FitKid Sports Basketball Camp: July 10-14, 2023

(Ages:  Rising K-8th grade) 

 

 

9am - 12noon (half day) or 9am - 3pm (full day)

Prosperity Park Basketball Courts

Campers will learn the fundamentals of basketball including, dribbling, passing, and shooting.  The camp focuses on teaching the core fundamentals including balance and coordination while developing gross motor skills.  Group games are used to teach sportsmanship and coordination.  Full day camp must bring lunch and swimsuit.

Camp Policies

THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE CAMP POLICIES

**FULL CAMP FEE DUE UPON REGISTRATION.**

Camp fee due at registration.  $25 of this fee is non-refundable.  

No refunds will be given within two weeks of camp start date. (regardless of the reason for cancellation)

Camp fees are non-transferrable between other HC camps.

Cancellation Policy: 

Full refund less the $25 non-refundable fee will be given only to cancellations prior to two weeks of camp start date (regardless of the reason for cancellation)

Cancellation within two weeks of start date will not be refunded. (regardless of the reason for cancellation)

Non-resident camp policy:

Non-residents may register for camp after May 15^th only if attending as a guest with a HC resident. One guest per HC resident permitted.

Inclement Weather Policies:

Sport-related camps are outdoor camps.  Camp instructors provide ample water breaks and some camps will include swimming.  It is the parent/guardian responsibility to apply sunblock on your child prior to arriving at camp each morning.  In addition, it is important to supply your child with enough cold, drinking water for the entire duration of the camp each day. Please label any snack or drink containers with your childs name. 

Cancellation of a camp due to inclement weather (heat, rain, etc.) is determined at the discretion of the camp instructor.  A decision/policy by the instructor will be given to parent on first day of camp.

Should camp be cancelled due to inclement weather it is up to the instructor to provide an alternate date or pro-rate the camp. If an alternate date is offered, then a pro-rate will not be an option, even if the camper is unable to attend.
