Mad Science Camp "Eureka! Inventors Camp"

July 3 - 7, 2023 (No camp on July 4th)

1pm - 4pm

Ages 6 - 8

$153 per camper

Campers will overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors, and most of all - their mind!  With a little bit of ingenuity campers will create aircrafts, construct working light sticks to take home and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light bulbs.  Thomas Edison said, "invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspirations", but this camp is 100% fun!

Make it a full day of Mad Science fun!  Register for both Mad Science Camps.  Supervised lunch break 12noon - 1pm, no swim with this camp.

Payment types accepted via PayPal (credit card) during registration or exact change/check made payable to HCCA at the Sports club upon registration.

Inclement Weather Policies:

Sport-related camps are outdoor camps.  Camp instructors provide ample water breaks and some camps will include swimming.  It is the parent/guardian responsibility to apply sunblock on your child prior to arriving at camp each morning.  In addition, it is important to supply your child with enough cold, drinking water for the entire duration of the camp each day. Please label any snack or drink containers with your childs name.

Cancellation of a camp due to inclement weather (heat, rain, etc.) is determined at the discretion of the camp instructor.  A decision/policy by the instructor will be given to parent on first day of camp.

Should camp be cancelled due to inclement weather it is up to the instructor to provide an alternate date or pro-rate the camp. If an alternate date is offered, then a pro-rate will not be an option, even if the camper is unable to attend.
