2016 Nebraska Spring Laboratory Meeting 

 

The 2016 Nebraska Laboratory Spring Meeting will be held on  April 27-29 at the Embassy Suites La Vista Conference Center in La Vista, Nebraska.

Specific vendor days have been set aside for April 27 & 28.  

This event provides vendors, such as yourself, with an excellent opportunity to connect and interact with the region's laboratory professionals who have significant decision-making and purchasing responsibilities in their respective organizations.  

This event is geared towards attendees that are aspiring, emerging and experienced laboratory professionals.  During each general session, attendees will be able to choose from 2-3 topics that will help enhance their laboratory leadership knowledge and expand their technical horizons.

Exhibit Details:

Each exhibit space shall include pipe and drape, one 8 ft. skirted table, 2 chairs, WiFi internet access, and electrical access (if needed please note on registration form).

Vendor set up time is Wednesday, April 27 from 8-12 pm.

Each booth rents for $600 for the first booth and $400 for the second. The contract and payment are due no later than March 31, 2016. There will be a late fee of $100 for any payments received after May 1st.  Checks or PayPal should be made payable to: ASCLS/CLMA/ASCP/PAMET Spring Meeting.  This year we are happy to again offer PayPal when paying with a credit card!     

Meal tickets for Wednesday and Thursday may be purchased on the registration form.  Registered vendors (up to 2 per booth) may attend any of the breakout or general session lectures on Wednesday or Thursday.

Other Opportunities for Vendor Support:  

There are several other opportunities for vendors to support our conference. All of these options are available in the registration form. If you are unable to attend but would still like to support the conference, please contact Sandra Jameson or Kristine Evans, Conference Co-Chairs (see left hand side of screen) or complete the registration form as a donor.

  • Provide speakers that focus on topics in one of the many areas of laboratory leadership.  
  • Support coffee, breakfast, or lunch breaks

Exhibit Service Contractor

The Embassy Suites Hotel will be handling all exhibit services.  Contact information is below.  Items will be received by Embassy Suites up to three days in advance of the exhibition.

• Arrangements to receive 10+ packages and pallets must be made in advance.

EXHIBITOR RULES AND REGULATIONS

Contract for space: The application for space and the formal notice of assignment constitutes a contract for the right to use the space allotted.  In the event of fire, strikes or other uncontrollable circumstances, this contract will not be binding.

Use of space:  No exhibitor shall assign, sublet, or share the whole or any part of the space allotted without the knowledge and consent of the convention committee.  Aisles must be kept clear.  Exhibitors must comply with all safety, fire and health requirements during set-up, operation and teardown.

Exhibit space:  Each 8 x 10 exhibit booth shall have pipe and drape, one 8 ft skirted table and 2 chairs and includes electrical.

Assignment of space:  The committee will assign what is considered best space available.  Exhibitor will be notified, in writing, of booth assignments prior to the meeting.  All dimensions and locations of the booths on the floor plan are believed to be accurate.  The committee reserves the right to make modifications to the floor plan as deemed appropriate.  Space is assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.  No space is assigned without the official contract and payment of the exhibit fee.

Hours of the exhibit:   Wednesday, April 27 from 12:00 - 6:00 pm and Thursday, April 28, 8:00 - 5:00 pm

Dismantling:  Exhibitor expressly agrees not to teardown the exhibit or do any packing before closing hour of the exhibit on Thursday, April 28th at 5:00 pm.  Teardown must be complete by 6:00 PM.

Exhibit hall admittance/badges:  Exhibitors must furnish the committee with an advance list of all their representatives.  As an exhibitor, you will be expected to wear your company’s badge for identification.

Liability:   ASCLS-NE, ASCP, PAMET and CLMA  officers or committee members of the same, will not be responsible for the safety or the property of the exhibitors, their agents or employees, from theft, damage or fire, accident or other cause, but will use reasonable care to protect the exhibitors from such loss.  Exhibitors wishing to insure their goods must do so at their own expense.

Care of building/equipment:  Exhibitors, or their agents, shall not injure or deface the walls or floors of the building or booths.  No signs or other articles shall be posted, nailed or otherwise attached to the floors, walls, furniture or fixtures.

Cancellation and refund policy:  All booth cancellations must be submitted in writing to the committee.  Full refunds, less $50 administrative fee, will be made for canceled booths on or before March 30, 2016.
