RMIA Grassroots Event Outthink Wildfire

Colorado experienced another devastating wildfire season in 2020—so, what will it take to "Outthink Wildfire" and Be Wildfire Ready? Join the Rocky Mountain Insurance Association on March 25 Noon-1 p.m. to hear from national collaborators, the National Fire Protection Association and the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety , on a major initiative launched by NFPA that will greatly benefit Colorado.

NFPA President Jim Pauley will introduce Outhink Wildfire, a new comprehensive strategy calling for significant policy changes at all levels of government to stem the trend in destructive wildfires by 2050. IBHS President & CEO Roy Wright will detail the latest research offering actionable solutions for the landscape, the neighborhood, and the homeowner as we work to solve the wildfire problem with collective action. RMIA Executive Director Carole Walker will lead a Colorado focused wildfire mitigation conversation that includes a Q&A panel also featuring Jim Webster, Wildfire Partners Program Coordinator—Boulder County’s nationally recognized community wildfire mitigation program.
