Cost: $40 per registrant
The economics of the American health care system stopped making sense a long time ago.
This November, the conversation changes.
Dollars and Sense is a day-long event featuring new data and analysis from local and national leaders in health care transparency and cost containment.
Agenda:
8:30 – 9:00 – Registration and breakfast
9:00 – 9:15 – Welcome & Event Kickoff
9:15 – 10:15 – How Does Colorado’s Cost of Care Compare? New Results of Multi-State Project
The Total Cost of Care project is the first of its kind to measure service utilization and cost for physician practices across multiple states. Ellen and Jonathan will dive into new information and explore how Colorado’s cost compare to other states and what might be driving spending.

In June, the Colorado Business Group on Health convened employers, policymakers, advocates, and providers to discuss how to contain costs for the everyday Coloradan. Bob and Ana will continue the conversation, using data from the Colorado All Payer Claims Database (CO APCD).
