SCORE and the Stamford Harry Bennett Library (Ferguson Library) present this free small business workshop. At this workshop you will get up-to-date information about direct mail strategies from the United States Post Office and from an independent commercial mailing service. Our Presenters for this workshop are Frank Polacco from the United States Post Office and Bill Llewellyn from Universal Printing and Mailing Services, Inc. Topics that will be covered are:

  • Finding new ways to effectively and efficiently reach your target market
  • See how the Post Office plans could work for you locally
  • Investigate how personalized mailing plans from a commercial mailing service work
  • Bill Llewellyn will also share ideas about how a commercial printer/mailer can help target and personalize specialty mailings for small businesses as well as help you save money on postage

Frank Polacco is a Business Development Specialist for the United States Post Office. He provides customers in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts with a consultative approach to finding Postal Service mailing and shipping solutions to grow both their business and their bottom line.

Bill Llewellyn is a Principal at Universal Printing and Mailing Services, Inc. in Fairfield, CT. Following a career as AVP Worldwide Catalgue Distribution at Sotheby's, he joined his wife, Shelley, in their business at Universal.
