Every business is at risk daily from systems being down to major natural disruptions. Disruptions like fire, power outages and storms like another Sandy. As a business, your ability to respond quickly and recover after an emergency is critical to ensure your success. This workshop will show you how to be better prepared for emergencies. Topics that will be covered are:

  • Assessing your Risks as a Business
  • Identifying your business' critical functions
  • Evaluating and reducing your risk to suppliers
  • How to handle your key data and communications
  • The essentials of insurance for business disruptions
  • The Emergency Services available - if needed

You will leave with a user-friendly 10 page "Business Continuity Plan" workbook - digitally accesible for interactive planning.

Our Speaker for this event is:  Brian Baxendale

Brian is a SCORE counselor and has been responsible for businesses around the world. His businesses have experienced fire bombs to the normal every day risk of power outages and servers being down.
