Featuring Kickoff Speaker:  James T. Cain - President, Cain Management (Dunkin' Donuts)

In 1974, a young driven entrepreneur named James Cain purchased his first business in Providence, RI at the age of 21. Working three jobs and saving virtually every penny he earned, along with some help from his mother and father, Jim was able to purchase his first business. This business was a Dunkin Donut shop, a fairly new concept then, known for serving the freshest donuts and the hottest and freshest cup of coffee on earth.

At the time, Jim had one partner and in 1976 sold his share of this location and moved to Norwalk, CT with his wife and new partner Mary Cain. It was here that Jim and Mary made their new home, and purchased their first Dunkin' Donut location. This location was located on Main Street, and has recently relocated across the street in order to add a drive-thru - it remains one of the highest volume locations to date.

Over 30 years later, that one store has grown to a 21-store network spanning throughout the greater Fairfield County area. In addition, Cain Management has branched out into the Queens, NY market, currently including 30 units. with more on the way. And Jim and Mary Cain recently have been joined by two new partners - sons, Jim Jr., and Shaun Cain, who continue to grow Cain Management with the highest level in operational standards.
