This workshop covers how someone can prepare to buy and sell a business and what goes into valuing the business.

You will learn:

• The players in buying or selling a business: brokers, bankers, attorneys, etc.
• The process of putting a business up for sale
• How to value a business: what buyers and sellers should be looking for
• How to prepare your business for sale; what you should do and not do

Our Speaker: Mac Leask

Mac is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVS). Because he has 30 years of experience in auditing, advising and valuing businesses, as well as 25 years managing and growing a successful accounting firm, he can blend his practical knowledge of business operation with the theory of valuation.

As a resource partners of the U.S. Small Business Administration SCORE mentors, conducts workshops and provides free counseling to new and existing small businesses.
